Preparation: to prepare and design the new the WindScanner.eu Research Infrastructure and its manufacturing process including Lidars, Scanners, Data acquisition, Data analysis tools and Presentation software towards its early construction and operation by end 2015-beginning 2016, respectively.
Innovation: to establish and operate a “WindScanner Target Design Forum” with WindScanner.eu stakeholders and participants for securing and promoting wind lidar scanners, spin-innovation ideas, and mechanical and aesthetical design for the facilities ground-based wind remote sensing sensors, and also for promoting new wind turbine integrated inflow and control products spurred from innovation in WindScanner equipment and software, producing enhanced prototype design, review and optimize wind scanners manufacturing including field testing, and overall systems quality assurance.
Dissemination: Show, demonstrate and disseminate the facility´s jointly generated knowhow, innovation and opto-mechanical remote sensing products such as turbine-integrated wind sensors for assisting enhanced turbine control, optimal measurement and scan strategies –all todisseminated via the PP WindScanner.eu’s nodes to the consortium members and end-users among Europes wind energy research and industry communities.
